Shri Eduljee Faramji Kolah, the founder of our parent company E.F.Kolah, was a visionary who believed in the power of authentic flavors. E.F.Kolah Company was established in the year 1885. Initially the company manufactured only Genuine Brewed Sugarcane Vinegar (Sarko)
After Eduljee, his eldest son Jehangirji Kolah continued his legacy and expanded the business of traditional Sarko and began manufacturing few condiments, with humble beginnings.
The big push came in the year 1950, when Jehangirji's eldest son Farmroze Kolah joined the traditional business. Framroze the Donyer of Genuine Vinegar, started diversifying the condiments line. The 60's and 70's saw a brisk expansion of the E.F. Kolah brand.
In 1990, Framroze's son Yazad took on the reins of the company and sustained the company's brand.
Yazad Faramroze utilising his, experience of over 30 years, from 2020 onwards, with cooking tips from his wife Rasna Kolah, started diversifying into Insta. Masalas under new brand FARAM'Z E.F. Kolah.
Later in 2023, all the condiments (Pickles, Chutneys, Insta. Masalas, Canned Mango Pulp and Tomato Ketchup) were all brought under one single : FARAM'Z brand.
After achieving his B.B.A., Yazad's elder son Hanosh who is currently pursuing his M.B.A., gave another push to the FARAM'Z brand by launching canned Mango Pulp and Tomato Ketchup.
Today our FARAM'Z brand has a basket of over 30 lip smacking & finger licking products.
With the blessings of our four fathers our FARAM'Z brand is now a household name in India and is available in many major retail stores and online platforms.
